Key Responsibilities:

• Install, remove, and relocate servers, networking equipment, and other hardware.

• Perform structured cabling, cable labeling, and patch panel management.

• Execute hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting, escalating issues when necessary.

• Support remote hands requests for equipment reboots, console access, and physical inspections.

• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) and data center infrastructure health.

• Maintain data center cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety protocols.

• Document work completed, maintain asset inventory, and update configuration records.

• Assist with scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency incident response activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with hardware installation, basic networking, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Understanding of data center operations, power and cooling concepts, and cable management.

• Strong physical ability to lift, rack, and stack equipment safely.

• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA A+, Server+, or

• CDCTP (Certified Data Centre Technician Professional) or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a multi-tenant or enterprise data center environment.

• Basic knowledge of ticketing systems and remote management tools.

• Strong communication and time management skills.
