Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Monitor and optimize the performance, capacity, and availability of virtual machines and host infrastructure.

• Support virtual networking, storage integration, and backup/recovery operations using tools such as Veeam.

• Implement and maintain security best practices within the virtual infrastructure.

• Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery (DR) procedures.

• Collaborate with other infrastructure and cloud teams to align virtual platforms with organizational goals and cloud initiatives.

• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for virtualization-related incidents and service requests.

• Assist in evaluating new virtualization tools, platforms, and cloud-hosted solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • VMware vSphere/ESXi

  • Nutanix AHV

  • Microsoft Hyper-V

  • Veeam or similar backup/replication tools

• Strong understanding of virtual networking, resource allocation, and storage integration.

• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of VM and host performance issues.

Preferred Certifications:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or equivalent

• Microsoft Virtualization Certification ( MCSA/MCSE: Virtualization)

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with cloud-based virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Exposure to hybrid infrastructure environments and automation using PowerCLI, scripting, or orchestration tools.

• Experience in enterprise-scale virtualization deployments and multi-site DR setups.
